The empty legs we promote are real, already-scheduled repositioning flights, not requests we go searching for. If one of our promotions brought you here, tell us which leg you’d like to claim. First come, first served.
Claim Your Empty LegEnter the empty leg from our promotion, route and date, and we’ll confirm it’s still available and send pricing.
Real value when the timing lines up, here’s what to know.
We only promote empty legs that genuinely exist, repositioning flights already on the calendar.
Because the jet is already repositioning, you fly that one-way leg for far less than a standard charter.
These move fast and availability is limited. Legs are claimed in the order requests and sign-offs come in.
When you get a quote or contract, confirming right away is the best way to lock in the aircraft.
What an empty leg is, where they fly and how to get one.
An empty leg is a private jet flight that has to happen anyway. When a client flies one way from Orange County to Aspen, the aircraft often flies home or on to its next trip with no passengers on board. Operators would rather sell that flight than fly it empty, so the leg is offered well below a standard one way charter, sometimes around half.
Southern California is one of the busiest private aviation markets in the country, so empty legs here come up constantly. The routes we see most often run between John Wayne (SNA), Van Nuys (VNY) and Long Beach (LGB) and Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Cabo San Lucas, Aspen and the San Francisco Bay Area, with longer legs to New York, Florida and Hawaii when larger jets reposition.
An empty leg is tied to another client’s schedule. The date, departure time and airports are set by the original trip, and if that trip changes, the empty leg can change or cancel with it. Empty legs suit travelers with flexible plans and a backup, and they move fast. Most are claimed within days, and popular Vegas and Cabo legs can go within hours.
Use the form above for an empty leg you saw from us. For a route we are not promoting, contact us and we will quote it as a standard charter. We confirm the aircraft, operator and price with you before anything is booked, and every aircraft we source operates under a Part 135 certificate or international equivalent. If no empty leg fits, see what a standard charter costs or place a $500 deposit for your Detailed Estimate Report, which prices every aircraft class for your route from empty leg rates to standard.
It varies by route and aircraft, but empty legs often price well below a standard one way charter, sometimes around half. You pay for the aircraft, not per seat, so a full cabin makes the savings go further.
Yes. An empty leg depends on the original client’s trip. If that trip moves or cancels, the empty leg can too, so empty legs are best for flexible travel plans.
The departure time and airports are set by the original trip. Small adjustments are sometimes possible if the operator agrees, and passenger count is limited to the seats on that aircraft.
Most often Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Cabo San Lucas, Aspen and the San Francisco Bay Area, plus longer repositioning flights to New York, Florida and Hawaii.
They are flown by the same aircraft and crews as any charter. Every aircraft we source operates under a Part 135 certificate or international equivalent, with vetted operators and crews.
If we’re not currently promoting an empty leg that fits, we can still arrange a one-way charter for you. Reach out and we’ll source it and quote it.
